Who is responsible for your information
Foxtailsfitness, run by Danielle Cerrone in East Lothian, is responsible for personal information collected through this website.
For privacy questions or requests, email Foxtailsfitness@outlook.com.

- Enquiries: your name, email address, optional phone number, chosen service, goals, availability and message.
- Reviews: your display name, optional email address, service, rating, review and optional photograph.
- Gallery comments and community ideas: your display name, optional email address where offered, and the content you submit.
- Bookings and payments: booking references, event details, payment status, amount, currency and contact details supplied through Stripe. Foxtailsfitness does not receive your full card details.

Health information
Please do not send medical records through the website. If you choose to include health information because it is relevant to your enquiry, it is used only to respond and discuss suitable support. The enquiry form asks for your explicit agreement before this information is sent.
Why the information is used
- Enquiries, bookings and services
- To respond, discuss suitable support, arrange services and administer bookings. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract and performing a contract where you become a client.
- Website safety and administration
- To prevent spam, protect accounts, investigate technical problems and keep reliable records. The lawful basis is Foxtailsfitness’s legitimate interest in running a safe and effective website.
- Published reviews, comments, ideas and photographs
- These are published only after approval and where you have consented. You can withdraw that consent by contacting Foxtailsfitness.
- Financial and legal records
- Some booking and payment records may be kept where required for accounting, tax, dispute handling or another legal obligation.
The website does not use personal information for automated decisions or profiling, and enquiry details are not added to a marketing list.
How long information is kept
- General enquiries are normally kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless they lead to an ongoing client relationship or need to be kept for a dispute.
- Client, booking and payment records may be kept for up to six years where needed for contracts, accounting or legal claims.
- Published reviews, comments, ideas and photographs remain until they are no longer used or you withdraw consent.
- Unapproved submissions are reviewed and should be deleted when they are no longer needed.
- Short-term anti-spam and sign-in records expire as their security windows pass.
How information is protected
The site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted private files, secure admin sessions, request validation, rate limits, upload checks and moderated public content. No internet service can promise absolute security, but access is limited and the site is regularly checked.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful use.
Email Foxtailsfitness@outlook.com to make a request or raise a concern. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
